SEO Specialist

Position Summary

We’re hiring an SEO Specialist for one of our growth-focused clients, someone who’s equally comfortable writing optimised content, fixing technical issues, and building a page from scratch that actually converts.

If you’ve got a strong grasp of modern SEO (including AI/LLMs), love digging into data, and can roll up your sleeves in WordPress, this one’s for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute full SEO strategies (technical, on-page, and content)
  • Write SEO-optimised content that ranks, from landing pages to long-form blog posts
  • Build and optimise web pages from scratch using WordPress (or similar CMS)
  • Troubleshoot and fix technical SEO issues, including crawl errors, redirects, indexing, and Core Web Vitals
  • Apply UX best practices to improve page structure, readability, and conversion paths
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest in SEO, including AI-generated search experiences and evolving ranking factors
  • Use tools like GSC, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, GA4, Looker Studio and ChatGPT to uncover insights and opportunities

You’re a Good Fit If You...

  • 2–4 years of SEO experience (agency or in-house)
  • Strong technical skills, especially in WordPress troubleshooting and front-end updates
  • Proven experience writing content that ranks (and converts)
  • Ability to build new pages from scratch using best practices in SEO and UX
  • Excellent communication — you’re confident presenting ideas and updates to clients
  • Must be available and responsive during agreed working hours (client-facing, on-call during shift, which is US time)
  • Organised, proactive, and good at managing your own time and tasks

Bonus Points If You...

  • Have experience with Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS platforms
  • Know how to implement schema markup and structured data
  • Can build visual dashboards in Looker Studio for reporting
  • Understand accessibility basics (and why they matter for SEO + UX)

What You’ll Get

  • A full-time, remote role with long-term client placement
  • The opportunity to work closely with a growing brand and make a real impact
  • Flexible working (within set hours) with support from the SEOBoost team
  • Clear expectations, real autonomy, and projects you can truly own
